The innovative optimization with TiltPrevention (trademark and patent pending) eliminates exactly the main cause of tilting parts by preventing too long tilt lever arms. An investigation of tilting of parts shows that the root cause is not only the pressure from the cutting gas, which acts onto the part, immediately after separating it from the sheet but also a big distance between the final cutting point and the next support line of the cutting grate tips (tilt lever arm). However, this prevents efficient automation of the removal of the parts.
The most common approach is to secure smaller parts with micro joints in the residual sheet.
